Susan on Skates
[For children]
Everyone in Susan's family went ice-skating. Even her little sister, Lin, clumped around the ice on double-blades.
Susan had outgrown those baby skates, and her father had given her a pair of real ice skates. Now Susan was going to try them out.
The family walked to the sloughs near the river for an afternoon of skating. All watched to see how Susan would do with her beautiful little skates.
