RADIO PROGRAM NO. 408 - Do You Really Know Your Child?
[The participants are John Lewis Selover, who has two young children, and Theodore Clapp, a guidance counselor.]
Clapp: Many parents who feel they know their children quite well have been startled to hear what a friend or neighbor has had to say about one of them. Perhaps he has recognized qualities the parents themselves haven't seen.
Selover: That can be a very happy discovery. We hope it is happy. Your field is education. How do you look at children? How do you approach them to know them?
