Christian Science was introduced to our family when an aunt had blood poisoning in her arm and hand. When this situation first appeared, she applied home remedies. Later it was necessary to call a doctor. At that time he proposed removing her arm but could not promise to save her life. She was the mother of five small children. A neighbor learned about her serious condition and suggested that she try Christian Science first. She did so, and had a wonderful healing. As a result many members of our family became students of Christian Science.

My mother was healed of a very pronounced goiter during a time when she had asked for Christian Science treatment for another problem. Years later she was healed of severe burns covering almost half of her body. The flesh became completely normal, and this experience occurred when she was well past middle age. She lived thirteen years following this excellent healing.

As a growing child I was healed of rheumatic fever and have depended upon Christian Science ever since.
