For a number of years Christian Science has been my only physician, and I have had many healings as a result of the application of the truth as revealed to Mary Baker Eddy and made available to all through her wonderful book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. These healings include that of a broken kneecap without any surgical assistance, as well as the solution of business and financial problems.

One recent experience stands out, and it is this experience that prompts me to submit this testimony.

One morning I was working from a ladder against the front wall of my house, when the ladder collapsed under me and I fell on my back from a height of some fifteen feet with the steel ladder on top of me. I remember repeating audibly as I was falling, "There are no accidents in divine Mind," and I continued to repeat this statement as I lay on the ground. With some assistance from my wife I was able to disentangle myself from the ladder and get to my feet. My left shoulder was badly dislocated, and the arm hung uselessly. There was also a dislocation of a bone in my right wrist. I do not remember being aware of this at the time, but my wife told me afterward that the thumb was also out of place.
