One day two summers ago while doing some yard work, I apparently was bitten by a creature of some sort. I noticed a spot on my foot but failed to do the proper prayerful work, with the result that within a couple of days my foot and leg had swollen to proportions that were unbelievable.
I was frightened, and had I not witnessed my wife's healing of blood poisoning, as well as healings of other serious diseases through the application of Christian Science, I feel that I would have pushed the panic button. However, I had seen proof positive in my home of God's saving and healing power, so I naturally turned to Christian Science for the healing of this condition.
I called a Christian Science practitioner, who took a firm stand for the perfection of man as God's idea whenever I voiced anxiety over the condition. Through the treatment of the practitioner the condition began to improve.
