A new series of articles is to be inaugurated in The Christian Science Journal beginning with the issue of October, 1969, under the title "The World's Need and The Mother Church's Response." Each article will deal with a different phase of humanity's contemporary needs. Each will show how one or more of the Church's present activities can respond to these needs and meet them.
The articles will deal with religion in a scientific age, with the cry for social action, with willingness to serve as well as to work for personal reward, with the effects on human life of the belief in matter's reality, and so forth. Each article will be written by an experienced Christian Scientist.
The Board of Trustees announces that the following new pamphlet and leaflet are available:
