In 1927, a dear relative told me about Christian Science, and I realized immediately that this was what I had been looking for all through my youth. From the time I was a little girl my mother had taught me to love God, but as I grew up, the old theology did not satisfy me. Christian Science was therefore indeed a revelation. The understanding of the Bible and the present-day availability of the Principle of Christ Jesus' healing works and of man's unity with God came to me through the study of the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I was and am deeply grateful that God revealed the truth to Mrs. Eddy so that we have the Comforter promised by the Master to guide us (John 14:16): "I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever."

In all the years since, my family and I have received healings both of illnesses and other problems through the study of Science and Health, often through the help of a practitioner, and we are deeply grateful. When error tries to make us believe that something is wrong with man, God's idea, it is wonderful to be able to lean on God, who sustains His own. Our greatest riches are the understanding of man's unity with his Father-Mother God. There is only one God, but many ideas which throughout all eternity reflect all the qualities of God.

I am very grateful for the request of The Mother Church to do better metaphysical work for our churches on the occasion of the Centennial year of the discovery of Christian Science. As I obediently took part in this wonderful work, I had two healings.
