A statement of Mrs. Eddy's which has deep meaning for me appears on page 247 in Science and Health, "Immortality, exempt from age or decay, has a glory of its own,—the radiance of Soul," At one time, not being fully aware of the truth of this statement, I allowed myself to be annoyed by a dull throbbing sensation in my lower jaw. I more or less ignored it and did no specific prayerful work on it although it kept recurring at intervals over a period of a year or more. Then three of my lower teeth began to loosen. Finally I was awakened one night by some alarming symptoms. The teeth were so loose I could not close my jaws, and the whole side of my face was swollen.

At this point I hastened to call a Christian Science practitioner for treatment. The truth voiced by the practitioner soon calmed my fears. I am very grateful to be able to state that with two treatments the teeth went back into place and became as solid as they had ever been. All pain and swelling disappeared. This took place over twelve years ago, and the teeth have been and still are sound.

I have had innumerable demonstrations of God's healing power through the understanding gained by the study of Christian Science and appreciate more and more what Mrs. Eddy endured to give us on treasured textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. I am happy to have been able to serve this Cause in various capacities.
