I have always received much help and encouragement from testimonies appearing in the Christian Science periodicals.

Over a period of years I have experienced several good healings by relying absolutely on the truth as revealed in Christian Science. Lung trouble, ptomaine poisoning, appendicitis, and other ailments of lesser consequence have been proved to be nothing but cnoneous beliefs. For all these healings I am sincerely grateful to God.

A few months ago during a rather severe testing time, when from a material standpoint things looked almost hopeless for me, I again sought spiritual help. For several weeks I seemed to be a victim of what probably would be termed ulcers of the stomach in a rather alarming and aggravated form. The condition seemed to be a result of the pain and mental turmoil brought on by cutting one of my thumbs on an electric saw. The pain and general condition of the thumb not only kept me awake at night but I also lost weight because I was unable to eat much of anything.
