The Fallacy of Old Age

What a fallacy it is that man, made in the eternal likeness of an eternal God, can fade into old age, decrepitude, and death! Rather, the fears and illusions of the physical senses should weaken and die out as one advances in the understanding of Christian Science. In this Science the student learns that his true body, or spiritual identity, is as intact, ageless, and immortal as Life, or God. Such realization comes as a light from heaven, harmony, where Spirit reigns supreme. It brings peace, joy, health, and strength.

Mrs. Eddy writes in Science and Health: "Men and women of riper years and larger lessons ought to ripen into health and immortality, instead of lapsing into darkness or gloom. Immortal Mind feeds the body with supernal freshness and fairness, supplying it with beautiful images of thought and destroying the woes of sense which each day brings to a nearer tomb." Science and Health, p. 248;

True followers of Christ, Truth, walk their advancing way in serenity as they rise constantly higher in the demonstration of their true, spiritual identity, expressing health and holiness in increasing measure. Journeying faithfully on with their hand in God's, they grow daily in the confident understanding of the unchanging reality of God's perfect creation. They increasingly put off the illusive belief that they are less than "the sons of God." I John 3:1;
