Definitely We Are Loved!
A boy had been absent from kindergarten for several days. On the morning of his return to school he said to his mother, "Oh, my teacher will be so happy to have me back!"
The child's feeling of being loved and needed was an inspiration to his mother. She realized that definitely we are all loved—by God—and needed by Him as the very expression of His love. The Bible tells us, "Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love." Jer. 31:3; John, knowing that the sons of God were dearly loved by Him, frequently addressed them in his general Epistle as "Beloved."
It is just as important to know that man is loved by God as it is to know that man expresses God's love, for in both ways are we demonstrating that divine Love is the source of love, just as the sun is the source of the rays emanating from it.
