Words of Current Interest

The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon In the CHRISTIAN SCIENCE QUARTERLY designated to be read in Christian Science churches on March 2,1969.

We have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities (Hebr. 4:15)

A literal rendering of the Greek would be, "We do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses." Cf. Weymouth's translation, "We have not a High Priest who is unable to feel for us in our weaknesses."

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebr. 4:16)
