Mindy's Discovery
[For children]
Mindy telephoned her mother from school. "Can you come early for me?" she asked. "Mr. Black says I should go home."
When Mother stepped into the classroom, Mr. Black greeted her. "Mindy seems to be sick," he said. "So it seems."
As they crossed the schoolyard together, the fifth grader and her mother were glad that Mr. Black had used the word "seems." Sickness only "seems" to be real, they knew. Anything not good can't really be real, for God, good, is All. Too, by healing sickness through prayer, Christ Jesus proved for everyone that sickness is not real. This they had learned through Christian Science.
