Almost fifty years ago my mother was introduced to Christian Science by a dear friend. The friend recognized my mother's need of help and urged her to see a Christian Science practitioner. At the time my mother was preparing for a gallstone operation. Her first visit with the practitioner brought an instantaneous healing. I was soon enrolled in a Christian Science Sunday School.
About a year later I had scarlet fever. To comply with the law, a health officer was called. Within five days I was back in school entirely healed through the application of Christian Science.
In Science we learn of man's true relationship to God—that we are actually the children of God. We have God's law to follow and obey. In proportion to our obedience we experience harmony in our human activities. When we experience this harmony, we know we are following in the footsteps of Truth.
