Who Am I? Where Should I Go?
How can I establish my identity and how will I know the path to take? Can I be sure of finding my right place? In today's busy world such questions may frequently tempt us. These are simple questions, but they can be devastating if we have few convictions and no foundation to build upon.
But we do have an answer! The Bible and the writings of Mrs. Eddy reveal our spiritual identity as the sons of God. Christian Science teaches us that man is spiritual and is always in the presence of God, in the presence of all the good that God includes.
The Bible is full of beautiful promises, and the first chapter of Genesis assures us that "God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him," and that "God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." Gen. 1:27, 31; The fact that God and His goodness exists is comforting; but when we learn that man and his Father-Mother God coexist, we find our heritage—complete sovereignty.
