SPEAK TO ME, LORD
Speak to me, Lord, when my heart is heavy,
Burdened with loneliness, sorrow, or pain.
Strengthen my faith in Thy healing presence
Till I walk joyous and free once again.
Speak to me, Lord, when my thoughts are wayward,
Lured by self-will and worldly delight.
Teach me the bliss of the cross and its glory;
Grant me the courage to side with the right.
Speak to me, Lord. In tumult, in stillness,
Thy voice is heard when the heart lifts in prayer.
Reveal to my soul man made in Thy likeness,
Forever complete, and safe in Thy care.
