The words in this are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the CHRISTIAN SCIENCE QUARTERLY designated to be read in Christian Science churches on August 18, 1968.
A day in thy courts is better than a thousand (Ps. 84:10)
While this represents a literal rendering of the Hebrew text, Smith brings out the thought more definitely: "Better is one day in thy courts than a thousand elsewhere." Moffatt has, "Better a single day within thy courts than a thousand days outside!"
