I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science

I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science. One day my mother was taking me to stores to buy some things. When we were in the car, my stomach started to hurt; but I did not tell my mother. Finally I got out of the car and stood up, but I could not stand up straight. So I told my mother. She told me to stay quietly in the car and think about the truths of God and how man expresses Him. I did that when she was gone. Then I sang one of my favorite hymns from the Christian Science Hymnal (No. 264). It begins,

Onward, Christian soldiers,
Marching as to war.

But still I did not feel well. I found a copy of The Christian Science Journal in the car. In it I read a testimony about a girl who had a stomachache and was healed. The thoughts came to me that there is no life or truth or intelligence in matter. [These thoughts are from "the scientific statement of being" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 468): "There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter."] I thought, I am not separated from God because God is everywhere. Also I am God's perfect child.

I felt gorgeous and went into the store and ran up to my mother saying, "I'm healed, Mom." Then we went home.

I am ten years old.
