TELL IT NOW!

Ah, Malchus, servant of the high priest,
long have I wondered what you thought
the night you led him to the cross.
Compassionately did Jesus of Nazareth turn
from death and self to heal your sword-torn
flesh with his Christ touch.

Others witnessed this scene and must
have marveled. Did your heart burn within
you to spread this good news? Did you tell it
in the temple? Were your friends and family
informed? Or did you remain mute to this
message of the Christ?

Twentieth-century Christians, you too
have felt this touch. Can you remain silent
while an ill friend has no hope, a neighbor
can find no work, or a church needs testimonies?
