Christian Science has been the only religion I have known. I attribute a life blessed with peace, health, and harmony to this fact.

There have been conclusive proofs of God's healing power. When I was a child, a doctor diagnosed my condition as asthma and prescribed treatments that would cost more than my father was earning at that time. This was during the depression.

My parents had heard of healing through Christian Science. In their dire need they took me to a Christian Science practitioner. When my mother and I came out of the practitioner's home and returned to the car where my father was waiting, we found that all symptoms of the disease had vanished. In a few days some of them reappeared, but after another treatment by the practitioner all symptoms disappeared for good.
