I was raised in Christian Science from early childhood and have been an earnest student for the past sixteen years. For the past ten of them I have had to be both mother and father to a son and two daughters and support infirm parents. We live far out in the country, which means driving many miles to work, often late at night and in all kinds of weather.

Through the study and application of Christian Science my children and I feel that we are truly being blessed and enriched. All of us have excellent health. My son completed his fifth year in college through his own efforts and demonstration of the Christ-power. My daughters are good students both in school and in their study of Christian Science, and my home situation has improved physically and mentally. Each new position I've held has been a step forward, giving me more opportunity to grow spiritually and eventually to work in a private school for the children of Christian Scientists.

I am the transportation supervisor for the school. I accepted the offer of this job although I had never been in an airplane, seldom used a train, and certainly knew nothing about supervising daily school buses. I turned wholly to God, knowing that He had led me to this work for a purpose and would supply all the ideas necessary to handle the duties. As a result, all my co-workers were willing and eager to help with whatever they knew about the job.
