Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health (p. 199), "The devotion of thought to an honest achievement makes the achievement possible. I found this statement a tremendous help during the time I was at college preparing to take the certified public accountant examination.

During my early years in college I worked part time in the office that took care of administering the CPA examination. I was asked to make a survey of several years' examinations to find out what percentage had passed and failed the examination. I found that only 25 percent of the examinees passed the whole examination, 25 percent passed part of it, and the remainder failed, t found that many people had taken the examination many times and still had not passed it. I took in all of these findings and built up for myself a high wall of limitations about passing the examination. I was a student of Christian Science and planned to remove this wall of limitations when I was ready to take the examination.

During my years of undergraduate work I had seen many limitations disappear. I began to awaken to the fact that there never was and never would be a wall of limitations to remove. Infinite Mind, God, knows no limitations. Man, as the child of God, reflecting this Mind, has unlimited capabilities.
