Teddy Wakes Up
[For children]
Before going to school Teddy had one more chore. He had to feed Skipper, his hungry boxer dog.
He was in a hurry; and as he was getting the dog food, he put his hand on the kitchen burner his mother had used in cooking breakfast. The pain was so great that he cried out, and Mother came to comfort him. Even Skipper cocked his head, looking as if he wanted to help.
Teddy tried to remember some truths he had learned in the Christian Science Sunday School. He knew that God would help him now, as He had so many times in the past.
