"One race, one realm, one power"
One morning a woman went to a farmers' market in her community. After her shopping was finished, she decided to have something to eat before she returned home. She selected a counterlike table where there were no people. To her surprise a bench on the other side of the table soon filled with a conglomeration of people of different races from all walks of life. Even the end seats were soon taken by a little family that could not speak her language.
As she looked at this assortment of humanity sitting together en famille, the woman thought, "Well, just what am I doing here?" At that moment it did seem almost incongruous. Then the answer that came from divine Mind immediately changed the whole picture as far as she was concerned. Divine revelation unfolded to her a wonderful explanation of true being in these words from the poem "The New Century" by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science:
