My wife and I were traveling by air recently when the pilot announced that turbulent weather ahead prompted him to warn the passengers to fasten their seat belts and the stewardesses to seat themselves until further notice. Immediately we two began to pray, denying the reality of the reported atmospheric conditions. We insisted there was no such thing as turbulence in divine Mind and that reality consists of God and His ideas, which are always under His complete protection and control.

Within minutes the plane entered the area where the reported turbulence was located, but we experienced only minor tremblings. Soon the pilot announced that the plane had passed through the troubled area.

We were very grateful for this experience and its assurance of God's loving care, for the elimination of any sense of fear of doubt, and for our understanding of the ever-available protection of divine Mind.
