Christian Science has brought many blessings into my life
Christian Science has brought many blessings into my life.
I was reared in an orthodox Christian home by Christian parents. The Bible was a much-read book, and we were taught to pray. But because of misinformation and misunderstanding I had a great misconception of Christian Science. When it was first presented to me, I both resented and rejected it.
As a young girl I was always frail. I was in great need. As years went by, I developed what doctors then called quick consumption and was told by several doctors, including a tuberculosis specialist, that I could not live more than six months. The doctors advised my husband to take me to a warmer climate, which he did. I practically lived out-of-doors in the sunshine for two years. Then, because I was so homesick for my home and family, we went home to see if I could live there again.
