As I look back over the years since I began the study of Christian Science and recall my healings and experiences, I wonder if I can ever express sufficient gratitude. I acknowledge the help I have received from trusting in God. Prayer is spiritualization of thought and learning to understand God. In every case it is Truth that heals.

I did not come into Christian Science seeking a healing, but because I wished to be like a Christian Scientist who was a co-worker in the office where I was employed. She was loving and peaceful. I started studying daily the Bible Lessons from the Christian Science Quarterly,and I attended services in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. In two years I received a healing of pyorrhea. I then turned most earnestly to the study of Christian Science and joined The Mother Church and later a branch church.

Subsequently I had a healing of a hernia through mental surgery. Because of fear I had to have treatment from a practitioner, who helped me to place my entire trust in God; and I received the healing.
