I was still a schoolgirl when I became a student of Christian Science, and in time I came to see each member of my family helped and greatly blessed by the ministrations of this religion. Nearly fifty years ago I had the blessing of class instruction, and what precious years they have been! They have given me daily proof of God's sustaining presence and power to save and heal.

I owe all my blessings to Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science and the author of its textbook, Science and Health, the "little book open" (Rev. 10:2). Referring to the works she has written on Christian Science, Mrs. Eddy says (Miscellaneous Writings, p. 311). "I was a scribe under orders." What would I do without Science and Health, that illuminating key to the Scriptures, so freely available to every earnest seeker for Truth?

As we begin the second century of the Christian Science movement, I cannot refrain from offering this tribute to Mrs. Eddy from the bottom of my heart.
