Dominion, Not Accusation
How much more pleasant this world would be were people to choose to assert their dominion over a situation rather than to blame someone else for it! But mankind are plagued with a universal tendency to blame someone or something for their troubles.
Yet the Bible insists that God gave man dominion over all the earth. And the Psalmist fully accepted this Biblical assertion as valid, for he lifted his voice in praise to God and proclaimed of man, "Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet." Ps. 8:6:
Mrs. Eddy states: "Divine Love blesses its own ideas, and causes them to multiply,—to manifest His power. Man is not made to till the soil. His birthright is dominion, not subjection. He is lord of the belief in earth and heaven,—himself subordinate alone to his Maker. This is the Science of being." Science and Health, pp. 517, 518;
