In the bosom of the Father (John 1:18)

Dummelow refers to the similar phrase, "into Abraham's bosom (Luke 16:22), noting that in the present context, "in the bosom" indicates "in eternal, intimate, loving union with the Father. Similarly, Phillips has, "in the closest intimacy with the Father; and The New English Bible, "nearest to the Father's heart."

He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life (John 8:12)
