Of the many healings I have had through Christian Science the following have been to me perhaps the most convincing.
The first was a case of mental surgery. The pad of my thumb was torn by an electric saw. My first reaction was to run from the building, but I stopped and said, "No! this is a job for Christian Science." Although I was firm in my determination to rely wholly on Christian Science, the condition of the thumb had so deteriorated after five days that it was evident that something would have to be done quickly.
