As a member of the third generation in our family to have had the privilege of being a student of Christian Science, I wish to acknowledge with deep gratitude the continuous unfoldment of good I have received through its study. My husband and I have had many physical healings. We have been protected from contagion and accident; sorrow has been healed; and employment problems have been resolved. The greatest blessing of all is the constantly unfolding sense of man's unity with God obtained through the daily study and practice of the truths of Christian Science.

I would like to relate a healing that is especially precious to me. Several years ago, about a week after my mother had passed on, I was suddenly beset by such fear that I was even afraid to walk across the room. In the next few weeks it seemed that practically every organ of my body was affected at one time or another. Through the help of my teacher of Christian Science the acute phases of this problem were quite quickly overcome.

I married a few months later, and we moved to another city. However, I gradually seemed to drift into chronic ill health. This, together with the many fears with which I was hedged about, often made life a burden. I fully realized that not only was this an unfair situation for my patient, loving husband, but it was certainly not exemplifying Christian Science.
