Ever-appearing Creation
Viewing the universe through the material senses, human intellect interprets it as a wonderful and immense material creation governed by physical law. Christian Science, however, explains creation as being not material but spiritual, the unending appearing of the manifestation of infinite Life, Truth, and Love. Creation, the outcome of God's selfhood, holds all the things of God we most cherish. It holds for each of us a place in His spiritual kingdom and a heritage of abundant good.
Mrs. Eddy, writing of creation, states; "Creation is ever appearing, and must ever continue to appear from the nature of its inexhaustible source. Mortal sense inverts this appearing and calls ideas material. Thus misinterpreted, the divine idea seems to fall to the level of a human or material belief, called mortal man."
