In Psalms we read (90:1), "Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations." This assurance of man's constant and consistent unity with God was of great comfort to me when our family appeared to be losing a home, employment, and reward for what had been two and a half years of hard work in building up a farming project only to find that lack of interest and high-pressure business appeared to be denying the fulfillment of its unfoldmcnt.

Great fear for our family of two young children and a sense of injustice to my husband had to be overcome on my part. Human steps taken to find new employment were of no avail, and when an advertisement in The Christian Science Monitor brought no response, a great searching of thought took place which uncovered an unwillingness to leave home, church, and friends. However, this was instantly dismissed when the full meaning of some of Mrs. Eddy's words from Science and Health were understood. They read (p. .324), "Gladness to leave the false landmarks and joy to see them disappear,—this disposition helps to precipitate the ultimate harmony."

I then realized that if we were advertising in the Monitor for the wrong solution of our problem, our advertisement certainly would receive no response, following this line of reasoning, we were released from a limited concept of work, and my husband was encouraged by a practitioner, who told him that God's word had gone forth and would not return void (see Isa. 55:11).
