While my daughter and I...
While my daughter and I were visiting another daughter, I seriously damaged one leg and knee. By means of a long distance call, I asked for the help of a Christian Science practitioner. There was a great deal of pain, and the knee was useless and completely immobile. My children were fearful and wanted me to have medical help. Unknown to me, they found an ambulance and a hospital that would admit me, but I would not agree to go to the hospital.
Through my steadfast reliance on God, who, I knew, had never deserted me, and my gratitude for many previous healings and through the help I was having from the practitioner, the pain eased.
Later I was able to rest, and the next morning I was able to ride one hundred and fifty miles home, lying down on the back seat of the ear. In a few days the knee could bear weight, and in a couple of weeks I could walk again and go downstairs.
