WORDS OF CURRENT INTEREST
[The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly designated to be read in Christian Science churches on July 19,1964.]
They Shall Be Abundantly Satisfied With The Fatness Of Thy House (Ps. 36:8)
In his commentary on the book of Psalms, Kirkpatrick suggests that the metaphor here used "is derived from the sacrificial meal, in which God receives the worshiper at his table (Lev. 7:15; Jer. 31:14)." Kent's rendering is, " They are fully satisfied with the rich things of thy house"; while Briars has, ""They are refreshed with the rich things of Thy house."
