For many years I have enjoyed the beautiful testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals, rejoicing with the writers in the harmony which this religion brings. I did not write a testimony myself because I felt I had nothing specific enough to write about. Finally it has come to me that just the happy, full life Christian Science has always brought me is testimony enough.

My parents began to study Science when I was a year and a half old, and I was healed of what appeared to be a very serious case of poisoning. I enjoyed many years of Sunday School attendance and joined The Mother Church and a branch church while still in school. Through the application of Science I was able to have four years at the college of my choice in spite of a very difficult financial situation in our family. My parents told me each year that it would have to be my demonstration if I were to continue in college, and each time the need was met in a way that could not have been foreseen materially.

Our younger daughter experienced a healing when she was a baby which was beautiful to see. She had been growing more and more fretful and cross over a period of weeks. She lost her appetite and slept fitfully. Finally she began crying most of the time. My husband and I were working earnestly for her, as we had been taught to do in Christian Science, but at this point we asked for the help of a practitioner.
