I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for our beloved Leader the author of Science and Health, which has acquainted me with the Bible and has given me a better understanding of Christ Jesus' teachings and healing works.

I first heard of Christian Science about forty years ago through my mother's healing, which took place while she was staying in the United States. For weeks she had been seriously ill. My sister-in-law presented Science to her, a practitioner was called, a treatment given, and in a short time my mother was completely healed and able to make the trip back to Europe.

She then told me of her healing, and I was much impressed. But it was not until many years later that Science was again brought to my attention through some literature sent to us from the United States, together with the address of a Christian Science Society that had just been established in this city.
