Atomic force
The concept of atomic force or energy is modern. But the first discussion of atomism or the atomic theory of the nature of matter is credited to Leucippus and Democritus, who, like Ezra and Nehemiah, lived in the fifth century B.C. They taught that all phenomena are to be explained by the incessant movement of atoms, differing only in shape, order, and position. Today the atom is widely considered to be a source of vast potential destructive or constructive energy.
