RADIO PROGRAM No. 114 - Your Protection from Contagion

INTERVIEWER: We hear and read quite a bit these days about the search for protection from colds and contagion. Certainly protection is something everybody wants. In his book '"The Health Hucksters" Ralph Lee Smith said: "Your best preventatives are a good diet, warm clothing in cold weather, and avoidance of people who have colds." SPEAKER: In Christian Science we recognize that to conquer contagion, we need to conquer fear, and we can do this through reliance on God divine Love.

The Bible tells us that "there is no fear in love" and that "perfect love casteth out fear" (I John 4: 18). God's love, which annuls fear, is the most certain, the most powerful, immunity from contagion that there is. This is the power Christ Jesus relied on.
