What a joy and privilege it is...
What a joy and privilege it is to demonstrate reality, to put into operation our God-given dominion, and to prove in our daily lives the ever-presence of the Christ, Truth!
Over twenty years ago I became interested in Christian Science through a healing. For two years I had gone to a skin specialist for treatment of my hands, arms, and feet. I was suffering from a painful and unsightly condition. The doctors frankly admitted they did not know the cause of it or the cure for it. Greatly discouraged and unhappy, I was ready to try anything. Then I was asked by the owner of an advertising agency for which I was doing some temporary work if I would read Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
I agreed, and the woman lent me a copy. At first I put the open book on my lap to read while I soaked my hands and feet in the medication. By the end of a week I had poured out the solution and was reading hopefully. When I finished the book, I went to a practitioner once a week for treatment through prayer; and in a few weeks I was completely free from the condition, and it has never returned.
