Outlook for Youth

The time of youth is often a period of uncertainty and unsettled decisions. A feeling of incompleteness and unfulfillment clamors for attention. On the other hand, this time is equally a period of hope and of forward looking. Human experience stretches ahead, an unwritten page.

The world is ready for progress, and youth is destined to carry out great measures of liberation from ingrained prejudices, from ignorance that binds the world to matter, and, most important of all, from fruitless theological beliefs that fail to lift the burden of mortality. The outlook for youth has never been more promising.

Christian Science supplants youth's uncertain, unsettled state of thought with the assurance that its unwritten page will record a life that is progressive, rich in experience, satisfying, useful. This assurance is not mere wishfulness, but rests upon unshakable, spiritually scientific truths, which are demonstrable. One of these truths is that man has a divine Principle, which governs all in order and in goodness. Another is that man is inseparable from God, his divine Principle, and receives his capabilities from Him. Still another is that Principle unfolds its energies of intelligence and love through man, God's spiritual expression.
