I wish to express my sincere gratitude to God for Christian Science. I was attracted to this religion by a neighbor, a Christian Scientist, whose attitude and mode of living were an inspiration and a practical help to me. At that time I was very much in need of healing. A nervous condition, called by the doctors spasmodic wryneck, was the difficulty. Much medical help, including two operations, had been given with no lasting benefit.

I decided to ask this neighbor how I could be healed in Christian Science. She advised me to go to a practitioner and follow his instructions. I did this. Immediately my thought was uplifted, and a peace I had never known took possession of my consciousness at times. Medical beliefs, false theological beliefs, and false education began to disappear.

My first healing was that of an eye condition. I was able to discard eyeglasses that I had worn for some time. A statement I read in a periodical caused me to see that I need not wear glasses any-longer. It said in effect that true vision is a quality of Mind. I have not needed to wear glasses since, that is, for some twenty-five years.
