"And a little child shall lead...

And a little child shall lead them" (Isa. 11:6). One of our daughters was enrolled by her father in a Christian Science Sunday School at the age of eight. Not long afterward our fourteen-year-old daughter enrolled. Both daughters had previously attended several different Sunday Schools and churches with friends of different denominations, because my husband and I did not have any religious convictions. They both assured us they had found what they wanted.

Jesus taught (Matt. 5:16), "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven." As a result of the consecrated work of their Sunday School teachers, our daughters learned to obey Jesus' command.

During an epidemic of influenza our teen-age daughter was sent home from high school with aggravated symptoms of the disease. Despite little support from us, due to our lack of understanding of what Science is, she took a firm stand for Christian Science treatment. Relatives urged that a doctor be called and that she be given medication to alleviate the high fever.
