Must a College Student Smoke and Drink?
College students frequently find that many of their friends make a habit of smoking and drinking. Those who do not go along with the crowd are said to be odd or queer.
The student of Christian Science discovers that his freedom from questionable practices is in proportion to his moral courage and spiritual fidelity. He finds through prayer that he is able to resist the aggressive suggestions which would rob him of his Godgiven freedom, purity, peace, and health.
The Bible furnishes him with reliable guidelines for evaluating proper human conduct. Through a searching and analytical study of the Bible, he becomes evermore conscious of spiritual truth. He understands that it is his privilege and duty to demonstrate the validity and value of these truths in his everyday experience.
