REFLECTION
I cannot
view
the brightness of the sun;
but I can scan
in wondrous flood of light
a scene of beauty, bright
in its reflection.
I cannot look
on Principle divine,
but I can find
it present everywhere;
its perfect works declare
that it is mine.
And when I wish,
the heavenly way to see,
I need not seek
another world apart,
for heaven is in my heart
and one with me.
