For the past sixteen years I have proved the efficacy of Christian Science as the answer to my every need. Problems of supply, companionship, and home have been harmoniously resolved and mental and physical disorders have been healed through prayer, as we know it in Christian Science. Some healings came quickly through my own study, but others yielded slowly and required much help from a devoted practitioner and my patient family. Both kinds were rewarding in their own way. I should like to tell of a recent healing from which I learned a particularly valuable lesson.

In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy writes on page 454, "Wait patiently for divine Love to move upon the waters of mortal mind, and form the perfect concept." In the Bible the prophet Isaiah admonishes us (2:22), "Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?"
