I wish to express my sincere gratitude for Christian Science and for the many blessings I have received from its application. My family became interested in Science when I was very young, and I can remember that I was freed from many childhood ailments and related difficulties through the understanding of God's love for His children.

Two summers ago I was invited to a friend's farm to go horseback riding. To get there, I had to travel several miles on my motor scooter over a rock road.

About halfway to my destination I started to go around a long curve, and, as I continued, a pack of dogs began to chase me. I accelerated to about fifty miles per hour; and while I was giving my full attention to the pack of dogs, I suddenly saw a large dog in front of me. I quickly applied the hand brake. The scooter stopped suddenly, and I went over the handle bars head first onto the rock road, sliding several feet. I did not lose consciousness, and the first thing I thought was that man is whole and is in God's loving care.
