THE ETERNAL DAWN

Do mortals call their plight "beyond redemption"?
They once said Jairus' daughter had passed on.
Christ Jesus raised her; this proved man's exemption
From sickness, sin, and death. As then the dawn
Of faith brought forth the fruit of joyous healing,
And other tokens of God's tender care,
So dawn will break in our case too, revealing
The wonders wrought by Love in answered prayer.
