At one time our boy had thirty-eight warts on his hands and was unhappy about them. He wanted to get rid of them so badly that he asked me if he could try one remedy someone had told him would do the trick. I explained to our son that by placing his trust in a material remedy instead of in God he would be breaking the First Commandment. But I did not stop his trying the remedy. After he had tried it, nothing happened except that he came and asked me to help him in Christian Science. With all our hearts we prayed as we are taught to do and studied the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

Less than three weeks later when we looked at his hands one day, we saw that not one wart remained. His healing was complete.

Shortly after this a large wart appeared between two of my toes. I told no one, although the condition was painful. I recognized something in my thinking that urgently needed correction and spent much time in prayer. Deep study purified and enriched my thought, and the result was the complete disappearance of the wart. Again, I thanked God for His love.
